Our Education Impact
Over 3 million Filipino students lack the basic infrastructure to receive quality education. With the help of our #HOPEHeroes, we are able to bridge that gap little by little with every classroom we build.
Through profits generated by GenerationHope, Inc. and other partners, we work with the Department of Education and underserved communities across the Philippines to build bright and beautiful new public school classrooms for young learners, no matter how remotely located they are.
We believe every Filipino child deserves a safe and comfortable environment in which to grow up and learn the skills crucial for a promising future.
Thanks to your support, we have 116 classroom builds all around the country in places where they are needed most. Visit our complete classroom list below to learn more about each build.
More than a Classroom
HOPE classrooms transcend its importance beyond its original use for lessons and housing books. They hold importance to the community as discussion halls and evacuation centers. They even provide help in hygiene and sanitation as they often are the only facilities available with proper toilets within the area. And for this coming school year, they will also function as information dissemination centers where teachers, parents, and students can visit to keep updated with the new education processes and claim children’s learning modules.
“Wag po kayong tumigil [referring to fellow classmates]. Abutin niyo ang pangarap niyo kasi hindi po ako titigil dahil sa pagsisikap ng mga magulang ko. Nakikita ko ang lahat ng sakripisyo nila.”
- Roen Jane Maghanoy, a 6th grade student from in Pangayawan Elementary School
